Teak casegoods and seating under assembly on the Berthyne workshop floor

About us

High-end product,
economical cost.

Berthyne Concepts Indonesia was established with a clear vision: to provide high-quality interior and FF&E solutions for hospitality, commercial, residential and architectural projects.

Our strength is end-to-end manufacturing. Design development, material sourcing, production, quality control, packing and export are managed under one roof — so a design idea becomes a crafted, reliable and commercially viable product without passing through three vendors.

Our process

Eight steps,
one accountable partner.

The sequence runs the same way on a ten-piece villa order and a four-hundred-key resort. Nothing moves to the next step without sign-off.

01

Design & specification

We read the drawing set, finish schedule and budget, then come back with questions before we quote.

02

Material selection

Timber grade, moisture content, metal gauge, fabric and stone confirmed against the spec.

03

Shop drawing

Construction drawings issued for the consultant's review and formal approval.

04

Prototype / sample

A physical sample built and signed off before a single production unit is cut.

05

Manufacturing

Woodworking, CNC, metal fabrication and upholstery, with scheduled progress reports.

06

Finishing

Sanding, staining and coating to the approved finish sample, batch by batch.

07

Quality control

Dimensional, structural and finish inspection against the approved prototype.

08

Packing & export

Protective packing, container loading, documentation and freight coordination.

Manufacturing process

From Indonesia
to the world.

Eleven stages on our own floor, every one of them photographed here rather than borrowed from a stock library.

01

Teak stock stacked in the lumber yard

Timber selection

Grain, grade and moisture content checked against the specification before anything is cut.

02

Finger-jointed teak panel laid up for a table top

Wood preparation

Stock cut, jointed and laid up into panels, with thickness marked on the board itself.

03

Machinist feeding a panel through the wide belt

Woodworking

Sizing, profiling and joinery — the bulk of the shaping work on solid timber.

04

Operator at the CNC router in the machine shop

CNC

Repeat components machined to a single reference, so unit four hundred matches unit one.

05

Welders fabricating metal frames in the metal shop

Metal fabrication

Frames, bases and structural metalwork made in house — no waiting on an outside welder's queue.

06

Upholstery team cutting and sewing seat covers

Upholstery

Foam, webbing and covers made up to the approved fabric and finish schedule.

07

Craftsman sanding a louvred teak wardrobe

Sanding

Worked back by hand through the grits, including the louvres and returns a machine cannot reach.

08

The finishing floor with work stations along both bays

Finishing

Stained and coated to the approved finish sample, batch by batch under one light source.

09

Casegoods and seating under assembly in the assembling bay

Assembly

Components brought together, fitted and adjusted before anything reaches inspection.

10

The final inspection area on the workshop floor

Quality control

Dimensional, structural and finish inspection against the approved prototype.

11

Finished chairs wrapped and stacked ready for loading

Packing

Protective packing engineered per piece type, then container loading and documentation.

Request a quote

Please send us the detailed project information,
and we will be happy to work on the quotation for you.

Attach the spec package or BOQ if you have one. An export manager replies within one working day — a rough budget and lead time usually comes back with that first reply.
